How it Works

Homeschool Math League offers math competitions for each grade level from third grade through Advanced Math, each consisting of two tests.  Each test will be 30 minutes in length and consist of 25 multiple choice questions.

After the student completes an online test, Homeschool Math League will grade it and enter their score onto a webpage.  Printable standings will be displayed at www.homeschoolmathleague.com.

For each subject, students will compete against other students within their state.  If there are more than 10 students competing in a state, the student with the highest score will be declared State Champion.  If there are fewer than 10 students in a state, then that state will be joined with nearby states to form a division of at least 10 students. The winner of each division will receive a trophy and the top four students in each division will receive a certificate.

If a subject has at least three divisions, national awards will be given.  A national trophy will be given to the student with the highest score, and that student will be declared National Champion for that subject.  Also, national certificates will be given to the top four students in each subject.

Test dates are set for 11/1 and 12/7 and may be adjusted by each homeschool somewhat to adapt to their schedule.
